Corvallis Brewing Supply opened its doors in October of 1997. The reason it began was out of economic necessity...I needed a job! For 10 years I worked as a seasonal employee for the US Forest Service. Realizing that some sort of long-term employment was never going to develop I went back to the University to obtain a MFA in Photography. Realizing that this was also not the right path for me to meander down, I stopped my Fine Arts pursuit with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree for, [GASP] the University of Oregon. Needing a job and not wanting to work for anybody else I packed up Sheba's bedroll and moved to Corvallis to open a homebrew supply shop.
Why? Why not! My customers are the most laid back and enjoyable crowd I could associate with.
Since 1997 Corvallis Brewing Supply has been offering the finest supplies for beer, wine and soda homebrewing. I also have a flower mill so that you can take some fine malts to make flour for at home baking. There are kombucha mothers for fine kombucha making and cheese making supplies so that you can make magnificent mozzarella, piquent parmeasan and chompy cheeder!
My resources include distributors from all corners of the United States and Canada. They pull beer and wine making goods from all over the world which means that I can get you anything you would like! If you see it on the Wide World Web, chances are I can get it for you...right here in Beautiful Downtown Corvallis!
This is at most times difficult in Beautiful Downtown Corvallis and you will be most lucky if you find a spot directly in front of the store. Downtown Corvallis is a great strolling town and a short walk from your car to our store can actually be a wonderful experience! Besides that, a walk will reduce stress, stretch muscles, get the heart rate up and allow you to smell the fresh air! Nonetheless, look for parking in front of the majestic courthouse. While you may have to slug a quarter into a machine for some parking time, it has been noted that there usually is an open space near the courthouse. PLEASE DO NOT PARK, NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING, in the parking lot to the north of the building. This is a private lot and we want to respect their property rights!
