West of sleepy little Salem, Oregon, is one of my favorite Pinot producers! Elegant and true to the vintage and to the varietal, Evesham Wood has been an exceptional Oregon wine producer for over 24 years. Situated on 16 acres in the Eola-Amity AVA, their most notable wines, estate-grown Le Puits Sec and Le Grive Bleue, are organically certified and so very pretty. We'll be tasting Le Puits Sec 2011 and 2012, Cuvee J 2012, Eola-Amity Pinot 2011 and Mahonia 2012. As a wee treat I'll be pulling corks on the last of my 2009 and 2010 Le Puits Sec for the vertically inquisitive (otherwise, sold-out vintages.)
The $5.00 tasting fee will be waived with the purchase of any Evesham Wood wine and there is also a 15% discount on the purchase of 6 or more wines.
